National Center for Rehabilitation and Prosthetics of Persons with Disabilities

The Center provides medical, social, vocational and physical rehabilitation for persons with disabilities, including children, through an individual and multidisciplinary approach.

Legal status of the Center

The Center is a state medical and social institution within the National Agency for Social Protection under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It operates at 5-A Darxontepa Street and 20, 3rd S. Azimov Dead-end Street, Yashnabad District, Tashkent.

Our main mission

To restore lost or limited functions as far as possible, help patients return to independent living, and support their inclusion in society, education and employment. Each rehabilitation program is prepared individually.

Note: the website appointment form is for a doctor's consultation and does not replace an official rehabilitation referral.

Who it is for

The Center serves persons with disabilities, including children with disabilities, when medically indicated. The type and scope of rehabilitation are determined by the patient’s condition, primary diagnosis and functional abilities.

Services provided

Inpatient and outpatient medical, social, physical and vocational rehabilitation; training in the use of prosthetic and orthopaedic devices; preparation of an individual rehabilitation program and assessment of outcomes.

Admission and referral

A rehabilitation referral must be issued through the prescribed process. Admission requires an identity document, a birth certificate for children and an extract from the outpatient record. Inpatient rehabilitation normally does not exceed 12 days.
